Simple Maintenance
After steaming, wipe off any excess condensation and let the stool air dry thoroughly. Avoid using cleaning products, as they can damage the wood over time. A light wipe with an antibacterial cloth is acceptable, but avoid saturating the wood.
For maintenance, you may coat the stool with wood cutting/chopping board oil if desired. This is not necessary but can help extend the wood’s life and enhance its natural beauty. We have pre-sanded the seat, but any rough patches that appear over time from normal use can be smoothed again with fine-grit sandpaper.
